Rumours are that a French bank has gone under, but nothing confirmed, other than the French dwarf has been in an emergency meeting all day.

Whatever. All I can see is the Euro dropping like a stone against at least 3 other currencies.

Market doing some weird stuff over the past week and the TL's not working as well as they normally do. However I was very pleased to catch this breakout which wiped out yesterday's losses.

Just finished this one after just over an hour of watching price drop down very hesitantly after the break through MS1. It all started, as can be seen, from a symmetrical triangle forming from a retrace off MS1, and eventually forming a harami candle before dropping down, and breaking out. I was going to leave it to see if it dropped right down to S1, but got impatient and bailed out instead!

Good one, pg. Classic TL break with retracement. How many pairs do you monitor, pg? You seem to monitor quite a number, mate. I don't think I'd be comfortable with any more than four. Even that's a trial sometimes for these old eyes!

price drops trough 11000 and mR2.
rises back to that area (S becomes R).
bearish engulfing pattern there triggers short.
entry: 10994
exit : 10978 (near R1, 75)

A short contra-trend trade after a really nice hammer formed at the bottom of the move right on the mid-point line. Bailed out as price approached yesterday's high.

will be posting again from time to time. Too focused to do it regularly.
This was my last trade. nice 80 pips after failure of break out and new down trend line was forming at the top. once PP got broken I entered short. No DD at all. Head and shoulders also looks nice.

It would be really good if you could put arrows or something on your chart pointing out exactly your entry and exit.
It would also help my tired old eyes, mate!

Hi eyevoltage. entry 85.51 just under pivot point. stop 30 pips at 85.31 previous top of the day.
take profit was 84.50. but closed 20 pips above.
it was short trade/.

Thanks, shiko, but I can't enlarge your chart enough to make out the prices down the side. Would it be possible for you to use MT4's "save as picture" facility? It would be reproduced a lot clearer on here, to be honest.
