What is/are the file name(s), i.e. *.dll, that I should find in the sysWOW64 folder after installation of TMS_V10 EA and TMSDB_V10 in the case that I may need to unregister/re-register them to get the DB to work? I have loaded V10 on a Windows XP system successfully and will try to load it on a Windows 7 system next. Thanks. I am working hard to get up to speed with V10 its features.

Most of the time "msstdfmt.dll" is the one it is looking for when you get the DLL error.
This is only needed by the DB, if you only use the EA you won't have this problem.
Its a DLL used by Visual Basic to create the Dash Board.

hmmm not getting many trades I think I might change my higher TF confirmation from daily to weekly. It could be a nice feature to have a daily or weekly option. E.g. as long as either the daily or weekly is in agreement - it will take the trade.

Since loading v10 about 15 hours ago and turning off counter trend trading I have not had a trade so far...

I have installed V10 on 12 pairs with DB. All went well so I thank Seller9 and others for the many hours of work this effort represents. The instructions have been put together very well as I did not have any issues getting this installed on my XP computer.

I have a question for anyone running this on an Onada account. I have my settings set for Criminal Ecn = true, counter trend = true, lot size 0.001. All other settings are default as installed. I have not had a trade in 16 hours so I just want to make sure I don't have a conflict with settings.

V10 tried to excecute a trade about 90 minutes ago sell USDCAD. I got error 131 invalid trade volume. So this has answered my question. The minimum lot size for Onada is 0.01. I have changed my set file to volume = 0.01.

Seller 9, I have reading posts from beginning and am now confused. What is the proper moving average setting for the TMS_v10 EA? EMA or SMA? Shift 2 or 0? Thanks for clarification.

It seems the tpl for v10 is using SMA, 0 shift. But I think I have charts from v8 with EMA, shift 2. But those could have been a carryover from my CH charts, so I may just be confusing myself.

Just need confirmation so I can be sure all my chart templates are correct. Thanks.

For V10 it should be:

EMA 5, shift 2, Typical Price (HLC/3)

I've recently gotten a few trades similar to this and I can't figure out why when there was no TDI cross? Any ideas? This one was a buy order.

I wonder whether it might be worth adding a H1 trading option in V11 - it might generate more trades and therefore the testing might progress a little quicker. BigE has stated that he only really trades H4 as he's asleep during the London session. If he's awake he prefers to trade H1.

Wisco04, pay attention that we use the dinamic TDI, So the cross is not perfectly idetified.

Even though i have limited experience I would agree with your thoughts on the 1 hour time frame option. After reading the TMS Thread it would seem that the originator trades real time 1 hour time frame and away from the computer time is 4 hour time frame. Also, from reading the posts at this thread it would appear that some trades are being made over the past 2 days which the bot is filtering on my pairs. Not that this is bad but it is merely an observation.

Just got a trade on the EURGBP. Its counter trend but with the weekly direction (10080).

The present version 10 uses the Dynamic TDI rather than the static TDI to trigger a TDI Cross. The Dynamic is upgraded every Tic where as the static is only on new candle open. So you may get a cross alert any time durring the H4 candle, rather than just at the open of a new one. The TDI Red Green indicator only updates when a new candle opens, that is why it may not agree with the leading Dynamic TDI.

I could go back to static for this.

What does everyone think?????

I will stick with Dynamic for the closs on cross as I think that works the best for that.

Version 11 will be MTF, so you can set what time frame you wanted to run in. I was waiting to make sure everything is as far as we can get it in the H4 version V10 before adding something else to the mix.

Maybe out this weekend, unless some problems come up or changes need to be made to V10.

If anyone sees trades that they think should have been taken by the EA, and if you can, see what alerts were stopping it from being made. The thing is you need to be in front of the computer at that moment because always look different after the fact.
Maybe a screen shot at the exact moment would be nice.
Thats how I make sure the EA is doing what I think I had coded it to do. I just set in front of the screen and watch the alerts to see if they are showing what I had intended at that moment. This way I caught some code errors taht could have snuck through.

We want to catch most of the good ones and leave the rest for others.

I have yet to have a trade on 12 pairs this week, does anyone have a .set file that is working on version 10 that they would post?

Just had 2 trades open on the V11_MTF on the H1 time frame, will see what happens.

These are both counter trend trades.

Edit: Both trades got stopped out at BE plus 5 pips, so I at least made 5 pips on each one. Will keep an eye on and see if they would have went any further.
I could have jumped in and made a few more pips, but I wanted to see how the Robot would handle it and it looks like it came out OK.

First time using your EA.
The V10 tried to send order for EURGBP and USDJPY but i was having invalid stop error.
Also I didn't manage to get the dashboard working but I will give it a try again (using XP)..
