But since your just on demo, you can take all the time you need to gather up pips.

wouldn't worry too much about this indicator, it's NOT part of this system; looks like an oscillator in bar mode.
I would say stick to the strat: TDI + Stoch.

All I use is the TDI and Stochs for confirmation.

I hope many of you made a killing on the recent E/U moves... Great news to move the market... I bought a bigger wheel barrow...

Yes I did thanks to your great system.
Follow it as you laid it out.
I didnt add any extra indicators and other crap to it and just follow the rules of the system.
4 hour time frames equal low stress , lots of cash and a flat tire on the wheel barrow from over weight.

Hi All
Does anyone know where I can get the MQ4 file for the above indicator?
I am trying to change the line thickness from 3 to 2 on the body of the candle.
The version that I have does not keep the setting of 2 on line 2 and 3 when I change timeframes etc.

Went live last night 3 trades E/A E/U G/U 62 pips profit installed 20 pip trailing stop loss after all 3 went into positive territory to lock in profits. Thanks Big E

Yes, click on the the darn paperclip, it is buried in there somewhere!!!

Also, anyone using these bars or any form of HA candles, you really should watch the candles when they rollover on the hour just to see how they actually plot, have the bid / ask line on the chart to see where price really is, then see the new candle form, might change your mind about them, at least that will explain to you how they hypnotize you, what is wrong with using regular candles anyway, the only reason Dean Malone invented these was to keep him in a trade longer but doesn't seem to work for this 4 H scalping system, have nice day ya'll

What do you think about USD/JPY on daily? Cross is good, overall trend is down.
Green area represents a potential support to watch out for.

It is on the OANDA MT4.

Also I have a question:
- Settings on the indicators stays the same no matter what time frame we are looking at, correct?

- Big E states that he uses 4H Charts for the London session and start of US Open first 3 hours using 1 Hour charts.

- People have tried other timeframes like M15 and H1, but from what I find it generally is not as accurate as 4H Timeframes. This trade strategy is specifically made for 4H Charts. Also, you should close your positions before the market closes.

I'm simply saying that Big E himself has said several times in this thread that it works on any TF, however his preference is the 4hr due to his time zone and the hours of his favorite trading session (london). If I understand correctly his repeated statements of "it works on any timeframe" is correct, then indeed it was designed to work with whichever timeframes you use. I agree that it's EASIER to make a profit on the 4h tf (atleast per my own experience) over using it on the lower time frames. This does not mean that the system itself with the use of fx basics does not work on any time frame.

While it's my personal preference to ensure I have no cross weekend trades, I personally would avoid using a TF that forced me into crossing that period. I guess what I don't understand is where these extra rules are coming from that were never part of the system? (BTW, I appreciate the comment as it provokes thought, please don't take my comments as combative when they are more inquisitive)

You are correct - it works on different timeframes and instruments. Some better then others, but if you thoroughly test it on the TF and instrument you prefer to trade you will see the ebb and flow for that particular market/TF and then you can make the judgement to trade it for real.

Just know if you choose weekly your swings will be larger so position size should be smaller to accomodate the larger stops needed. There is a simulator in the attachements of this thread it will help you practice.
