Shorts come into play again at 4340 to me. Any earlier than that and it would be too risky. Let's see where US open takes us.

4207.6 is the lm of the recent move from 4054.5 to 4401.6 (attila mentioned 4400 during Asia I think), but I want it below 4180 to open up 4141.8 again.

I have no idea how NY is going to play this, so I'm flat until I see something.
Well I only have 1,419x for NY open. Below (I doubt without panic sell) 1.414x. Key Ny open in my books, if they mark support I am looking for 1.450x test on a mini swing but obviously not necessarily for today as the daily range is already completed and passed.

On the FA side, despite headlines in main stream media on the EZ debt, bond markets are sharply lower and they are flirting to test 6 month lows (5 and 10yrs) in some cases (which is A LOT) but without NY clearing the risk factor after the downgrade there is a thin line to cross to panic mode that will put the euro back to 1.40xx without much effort and stock markets around the world are getting hammered pushing prices "on air to next support" which is faraway in DAX, CAC, FTSE and ES.

In simple words, EZ debt very short term is cleared again but risk can put everything upside down... Whole world waiting for US reaction. My vote goes for a positive/neutral day stock markets and stop the bleeding short term...We 'll see

I wouldnt add a short just now, but if allready in one thats doing ok, then I'd hold it for 4160 and be prepared to get out quick - trailing SL perhpas.
