dear seller9,

in V10 version, how to set the TdiTradeOpenTimeFrame in lower timefame?
Ignored
This EA is based on Big E's H4 time frame, thats what it is coded for no matter what chart you put it on.

When i try to run the TMSDB shortcut on the desktop,i got this error message.

Class not registered
You need the following file to be installed on your machine
MSSTDFMT.DLL

Any ideas how to solve this.

Thanks.
Ignored
If first install use the .msi file to install the DB.

Then follow the instructions in the following video to register the DLL.

If that doesn't work, try un registering DLL first then register DLL again.
After that try Google.

You also need to run the short cut as administrator if using Windows 7.

hi sell9,

thanks your working hard and kindly share to us
I have some confused, thanks a lot.

As your document mentioned that: "You can change to a different template as the EA does not require you to have any of these on the chart. You can also put the EA on any time frame chart as the H4 time frame is hard coded into the EA. "

When EA running ,because it EA have all build in indicator ,so not need any indicator in its chart?

the EA whether...

It runs without the Dash Board.

Just set the Dash Board to false, no need to create the files for the DB if your not using it.

The DB is used so you can see what is happening on all the Pairs you have the EA on, but is not required.

The EA is a stand alone EA.

Just noticed something that may confuse you when using the DB. The "Signal Button" for the "Sto H4" only reflects the color of the Stochastics Signal and does not reflect the signal of the slope when it is used in conjunction with the stochastics. This does not affect the way the alert is formed when these are used together but only may be misleading when viewing the DB. It could be green or red, but really is yellow, as the DB is not taking into consideration you are also using the slope of the stochastics also and with the combination the signal could be Yellow.

Like I said this in no way affects the way the stochastics alert is formed, only the way it is viewed on the DB. On the chart screen you will see the two separate alert bars and what is really going on.

I will fix this in the next release.

I hope this makes sense.

One discrepency noted.
Take a look at the bottom of the earlier chart.
SL = 503 pips.
TP = 42 pips.
dispite the setting in the EA for TP at 100 pips.

I don't see why it took that trade?????

Do you have a screen shot of when the trade was taken and the alerts that were present?
If you had capture turned on there should be one in your files folder.

That trade doesn't make any sense. Why is the Robot still active if it took that trade?

Why is the date and time of the trade 2011:08:05 14:37 if that trade was just taken?

Your settings are very similar to mine and I have that Pair on 2 different Broker accounts and neither one took the trade as the price is in the Buy Zone, not the Sell Zone.

As this is a new demo account, I went through the installation and found out that I had only the TDI Red Green.ex4 installed in the indicator folder, but NOT the Synergy_APB.ex4.

This indicator is now installed, so wait and see the outcome of the next trade.

I am also confused by the date when the trade was placed.
Now I close the trade manually, it show a 'Swap of -$0.11'. So this trade was done last friday, before I off the computer without knowing it.
When V10 was released over the weekend I had all the charts updated,
that's why things don't seems to telly.

SORRY for the false alarm.

Seller9 and others that have helped, thank you again so very much for your hard work and dedication to this EA. I am fairly new in the forex market and you have no idea how much easier this makes things for poor schmucks like myself.

Anyway, I have already had 2 very successful trades in the short time that I've been running version 10, but I did notice a problem. If I have the auto restart option on, it will try to pick up the trade again on the same trend and the same candle. Is there a way to get it to only restart on a new trend or at least after a few candles have passed? My 60 pip EUR/JPY trade profits were cut in half after the EA restarted on it's own.

Also, if you all think it's appropriate, would being able to set a separate stop loss for a counter trend trade (like the separate take profit option) make sense? This way you could set much tighter risk settings for the counter trend.

Otherwise, things look great so far...

Many thanks!

The separate SL for counter trend is easy enough to do, will put it in the next version.
The auto restart is suppose to kick in only if the TDI Crosses in the reverse direction. You may have gotten a temporary reverse of the TDI. I am using Dynamic TDI for that so will look into using Static TDI so it waits for the next candle or maybe some other way. I have it running on a demo acount with that turned on so will see how it responds. You may want to leave it off for now and just do a manual restart if needed. A new trend may be to slow if I used the Daily, maybe go to the ma5 trend on the H4.

Good Luck

Just got a sell on the EurCad @ .3985

And a buy on UsdChf @ .7648

FxOpen demo acct.

using pretty much the set file as posted by Star a few back..

I though I had counter trend trading turned off but just checked and it is on...
Oh well we will see how it goes...

p.s. the charts are from the screen capture function in the EA and it shows the ea still active, they are both suspended as they should be , the ea must take the screen capture before that takes place..

...no trades for me today at all, using V10 EA, evrything seems ok as settings, dash indicates all 8 pairs are ok, EA active, but still no trades nor errors into the log. I got all i need as indicators, that's weird, as V8Ea was working, into the same platform...pretty good volatility too today. Wondering what's wrong?

P.S. I'm using EU, GU, EJ, GJ, UCad, UChf, NJpy and AudJpy

If your going with the trend I don't see any good setups on those Pairs, they are the same ones I am watching. Take a look through your charts and see if you think any were missed with the settings you are using.

Good luck

First, thank you seller9 for your superb work!

Not sure why this happened and wondering if anyone else had a problem. I installed TMS_V10 using initial installation procedure on a new MT4 platform loaded onto a VPS running Windows XP. The TMSDB_V10 and TMS_V10 EA both seem to be working (no trades yet, so not sure but appear to be working). However, when I tried to load the #tms_db.tpl all I get is a black screen. When I check indicators it is grayed out and I cannot select it. I was able to create my own template from scratch building it with the indicators that should be in the template. Yes, all the proper indicators are there in the indicators folder and selectable from the navigator window.

Has anyone else had trouble with the V10 .tpl files?
