my view is while you don't have a new low they are still in play. and even sometime they extend on a lower low... this happened a couple of days ago.

Also, I dont base any trades on the gartleys as I have seen them extend for many pips and even disappear. But I do use them as a heads up.

had a lesson (or spanking, if you prefer) of that kind just a couple of days ago. yesterday i managed to get it back from the market + some. but i cooooompletely agree: not an entry signal. just a possible trend reversal warning.

nope, just once. got a couple of them myself, and they all behave the same... throwing up onto a carpet is a no-no for them... mysteriously.
and they always check if you cleaned up properly
