In the cold light of day, EU is still rangebound. Choosing a trade based on EU chart alone could get you killed. Look at European bond spreads as well as DX and YM for a better clue where a trade might be.

That is true too, lots of stuff going around eu and usd. So look at other mechanisms in case at longer term eu and usd fail.

Warning: will not help for scalping

Agree 100% UK We could now test the m15 61.8 area. DX H4 has a bearish Gartley pattern so the EU could very well retrace.

I hope that 4220 long would have a tight stop. If we break 4220, then a quick dip to 4175 looks likely imo. And if we get down there again today, I don't think it will hold.

Btw, If I were looking to trade EU right now, I would be looking for a long. I think UY has better opps today.

agree with you.so far 75 seen on DX but given BOJ intervention if this breaks 75 we may see much lower levels of USD pairs.
bond spreads will depend on Trichet's hint otherwise we may see mass exodus.what's point in keeping these if ECB doesn't share risk

Wouldnt be suprised if it hung around down here until NY open. 4220 seems a likely bottom (4215 possible, but agressive).

Should it touch 4210 again - be very afraid

news will dicatate where we go but I tend to agree 1.4220 would need a tight stop on it unless you are averaging. For me, 14175 - 14185 is the trigger for my longs (which will only be for about 50 pips as not convinced there will be much play during the afternoon.

Could be good to short again when the m15 forms bearish HD around the 61.8. Only thing is...the H1 has bull HD so price "could" go a little higher. Dont ya hate it when the h1 and the m15 have opposite signals?lol
