i see holding at 80.80, failing which there has to be a strong consolidation near 81.50 before a downturn.

I believe theres still momentum left, 81.50 is likely. Last time it hit 84 or so in a few days. NFP might dent it abit if bad but intervention > anything.

Basically I'm playing very short term based
upon some bank dealer's info and 00/50
levels....so far have been profitable....

good call.

i took a small short position at 80.01. wasnt too sure so did not wanna risk it, the way the market was trending upwards with a vengeance.
after the battering i took on my short last night. hope the small short pays off, i can add positions as the market keeps falling.

any idea where the big boys wopuld have placed thier stops for the shorts ?

80.50 will be alot of sell orders....from major
corporations....not retail traders....So is
80.20....which you knew already....

Any down will be short-lived...I'll exit with
30 pips for any selling orders....85.00 is likely
the ultimate target....but for now, I'll be betting
on short-term trading....Since BOJ had intervened,
it'll be hard to tell who will win this tug-of-war...

Not entirely sure tbh. Somewhere in the 79.10 region would be reasonable. Big big bearish divergence with UY on the 30m TF and I am thinking that 80.2 is the short term top. Getting expensive to buy here imo.
