Thanks enigma4x, I just started reading and following the thread. System has some nice details to watch for, for example the angle of the dragon.

then should be the flag complete or it will break down southside hardly.

My 2 days old Long was close..
We had a good run.. 2 TPs hit with closed @ BE..
my take,, I am still bullish bias,, now it is setting up stage for Friday NFP swings..

What does it tell you that you so easily manually close your profits but you equally as easily add to your losers?

You need to start to see the fear that you are trading with TAH. You must control the fear, and the key to riches will fall in your lap.

You fear your profit will get smaller so you close it, and you hope that your loss will recover and breakeven, so you let it run while adding to it.

You need to reverse this. You need to fear your loss will get bigger, so you close it. You need to hope that your profit will continue to grow, so you add to it.

It is so clear to me. You need now to become clear to yourself.

You need to read "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator." Read his story and you will start to make more sense to yourself.

Cut your losers, TAH, and let your profits run! You keep cuting your profits short, and letting your losers run.

On this chart you can see that there are two highs and two lows. If you look at highs you have a high then low and then lower high and should go short. If you look after that you have a low and then a high and then a lower low saying you should go long. Does it matter which one you follow. In other words, if the H-L-LH comes before the L-H-HL but the breakout is below the dragon, is it correct then to take the short position? The breakout is down below the dragon and in agreement with the down angle of the dragon on this trade. so I would think the choice would be to go short. Is this correct. On another subject, Did anyone catch the trades on the jpy pairs earlier. They really moved. Anyway thanks for any help.

Hi ddaytrader,

I closed my EJ and UCad trades with modest profits because I don't trust the asian session for a lot of pips. Also, this is a very unusual week; not one to foster expectancies. BOJ acted, but that was not a given for the moment. I did see that UCad could run, but maybe not until USD releases this morning. So, my decision to close for modest pips instead of letting it run with a SL and possibly lose the profit, was a decision I am comfortable with, even though it did run after I left it.

I made over 30 pips in the asian session. EU is coming down. AU is coming down. UChf is coming up. Things will be fine. Things just take time. Meanwhile, I am focused on SonicR, but not yet too comfortable with walking away while in profit, to possibly coming back to a trade that got stopped out.

You see fear in this. What I see is a habit of NOT taking profit, especially modest profit, when a trade softens, but instead letting the trade reverse and become a candidate for "adds" later! This is another habit I must erradicate. So, taking profits early is ok. A little profit never hurt anyone. The day for big profitable runs will come, too.

I learn from TAH-Super:
that what's go up must go down, what's goes down must go up,
may not be tomorrow, might be next day, next week, next month, etc.


EUR/JPY daily chart, and last few days with tight range near the low, gave some indication of accumulation.
And earlier in the week was prior warning that BOJ may intervene, my guess was BOJ may intervene after US debt decision, NFP or over this weekend.
As BOJ intervene this morning, and there are more Red USD news today and NFP tomorrow, wait till Mon/Tue to re-evaluate.
