thou seems a bullish momentum ... I like the idea of buying in... but whats holding me to close some of my profits and adjust my stop is the 200 pips move up ... of this pair..

waiting mode for the price to retrace at least half of down before I try to reconsider another long... :-)

At some stage soon, the BOJ will stop their selling. But do not forget that this is just some news spike type move. They have now spent many billions of dollars getting the yen to where they want it. They will not sit back and watch their money wasted if the forthcoming retracement goes too far (as in the last intervention).

+80 pips, now closing 66% of my position and letting the last third run, while my stop is still at break even.

Now Bank of Japan officials can go to lunch or dance the macarena I do not care anymore

Its slipping a little after the announcement of asset purchases. They were smart by moving up the announcement to 1am, that what kept the market buying from the moment the Yen twitching started. I got in at 76.77, just sold all out at 79.34. Hope i sold the top, may buy more for NFP on pullback.


And honestly, you COULD see this coming on the charts. When i did my run thru today around 6pm, I saw short yen setups on G/J, E/J and A/J. This almost neverhappens, U/J was looking double bottomish too. Just seemed likely so I waited it for the Yen twitching to start and I jumped in.

Scary, I'm sure it's a lost battle but that far?
When this has settled (I actually expect some more to come) I'll probably shoot for 75 - 70 or so.
I would be surprised if this action was limited to 79.35 but we'll see in the rest of the week.
