Stayed out of the intervention mess, lots of CHF dumping across all the pairs, then the SNB got back out of the cross pairs giving us the subsequent rally. Not going to trade these snap rolls. UJ intervention is a bit simpler and easier to trade. Anyone who made money out of this open, better count his blessings.

Well its just a fundy trader's guess with 3 years of experience on fundies... im guessing SNB is not DUMB enough to buy USD, GBP or EURO with their current state.... SNB would rather shed their Strength to buy GOld since its another safe haven.....
if only theres a chart in XAUCHF you'll see that it flown up,
i think i deserve a god damn vouch for my analysis...

They were not on their own unlike the SNB, that's why trading BOJ intervention are a bit more straightforward to trade.

I think is more important to check the reaction on CHF pairs. IMO, Euro is just a collateral player in the current risk/flirting panic circumstances. If they just manage to stop the massive selloff on USD/CHF and EUR/CHF it will be enough to put us back 1.431x in the euro.

Technically EC was a nice buy around test of the bottom around roll yesterday.

Closed 'em 150 pips too early, don't have much experience in trading interventions

Absolutely agree, UJ intervention is pretty predictable and str8 forward... will stay flat for awhile until the SNB crawls back into their cave...

Oh and to enhance my theory of SNB BUYING GOLD.... does anyone know what effects of GOLD RISING have on pairs like EURUSD and GBPUSD??
Gold and EURUSD and GBPUSD are POSITIVE correlated... GOld goes up, EURUSD, GBPUSD goes up too... there i said it.... another god damn proof that SNB was buying gold....
