Only grabbed a small handful of what was on offer here, took it down to the pivot but a classic TL break twinned with divergence.

took 2 ej shorts below the pivot, about 25p each.
looking to the expanded daily ranges, should have held on with about a 20p s/l for much larger gains. would have then still been in position with ~75 pips locked in. this grab-n-run habit isn't going away easy

seems risky to enter now unless preceded by a decent ret.

your views?

All noted, mate, and there's nothing wrong with "smash and grab" trades!! I've just come out of this one, which surprised me with its momentum. When price came to a halt at the mid-point level, formed a doji and then a high-wave candle, I suspected that there might be a reversal on the cards. So it proved, but I didn't expect it to rise as dramatically as it did! A good start to the day.

i was waiting for that move to go short again...lol
which i did when it formed a dcc on open and 11100.
entered on break at 11090. exit 11077. mkt seems a bit slowed down so got out quick near 75.

After the large momentum candle pierced the mid-point level, the next candle also pierced it, but couldn't achieve the same level or a new high. Price dropped, but the bulls rallied, but couldn't get back to the mid-point level. With the long lower shadow, I hesitated at entering, and the next candle (a high-wave) seemed to justify my decision. However, the next candle seemed to show the way and I was in.
The first 3 bearish candle bodies (and possibly the 4th) after the bullish finish at the mid-point level, when combined, would form a rather large harami candle. Just a point of interest.

This bullish flag formed across the mid-point level, and price made a clean break upwards. The retrace didn't manage to test for support, so I got in at the price indicated. Decided to bail as price touched xx75.

Been a good day, one way or another!
