Hi guys..

Much respect to Big E for posting such a good system. I have demoed this system for a month now and have made good profit trading it. I will be going live week. Will keep you guys posted on how it went...

Hi, I trade TMS on 4H tf and as per the rule "Don't trade against the trend"
how do we determine the daily trend ?
Do you determine base on trend line or TDI slope angle ?
because often I'm in situations where for example I want to go short on 4H tf but the trend line on daily tf is still up and TDI slope on daily is also coming down, so agree with daily TDI but against daily trendline.

Most would say just eyeball it. I use Xaphoid's MTF TDI indicators to show me the trend from the higher timeframe on my current chart. If you click on my profile and search my recent TMS posts you'll see a link to them.

Oh forgot to add, like any oscillator in a heavily trending market it might not retrace from say 30 area up to OB area to allow you to get crosses in areas you feel more comfortable in.

Eurchf a classic example, strong downtrend and couldn't get back above 50 level a couple of times.

I don't use the HA MTF now, i've switched to Xaphoids MTF TDI which is better and has an alert if all timeframes are in agreement. The older version (pre 1.02) was CPU intensive so I stopped using a long time ago, the new one (1.02) is perfect. I don't have a problem with new indicators as long as they are TDI/HA/Stoch related. e.g. they are part of the system and not some pointless addon like ADX, MACD etc etc.

I note your charts dont seem to include my new indicator indications indicator??? the mighty Triple III .....

I'm short this pair as a daily entry, @ 0.8748. about 6 hours ago, which is 4hours after my daily open.

With my 4hour broker times I didn't get see a clear entry, but this is how it is with 4hour candles, swings and roundabouts you miss some that others get and you see some others will miss.

yeah...i dont use stochs even, im getting to where I know by looking at the price action when a tdi cross is happening or about to happen on the longer term charts. for scalping i use other methods anyways on much shorter tfs.

I combine mine with fast trix. It has done pretty well in the past two weeks.

3 losses totalling: -200pips

+20 wins and net pips: +1400pips.

I trade only sharp angle crosses. Whether it is scalp or normal trading, good /sharp TDI angles works like magic.

Question:

Has anybody tried TMS with news?

I havent seen any indicator/system as precise as TMS in a longwhile. Hit rate is amazing.

Did anyone get on the train earlier today? How i missed those moves.

Those 2 moves seem to be the only good setups today.

Switch to H4 & you'll see a bounce right on that candle. & on the H1, the slope went steep suddenly on a long candle.

I have looked at charts long enough to know thats a good one. I switch between Tfs during trades but H1 is a preferred one to enter my trades.

This works for me well.

For those of you using the watchdog, do you wait for the bar to close and register final slope or do you take it when the alert comes and the slope is currently building?

So example...
Current slope 9.0
Perv slope 1.2
(Take trade Y/N)

or wait til bar closes
Current slope 9.4
Prev slope 13.4
(Take trade now Y/N)

I was using the simulator - great tool by the way thanks - yesterday and the 2 trades that failed were taken early by the 1st example, where most of the others seem to fair better like example 2 waiting for slope to register at close. Am I using this correctly?
