Hi Slurpee

If EURGBP closed above ema at the end of today's bar would it be an exit signal for your short or you still needed the stoch cross as well?

If eur closes below 1.4225 today we have a short signal as per this method.

Great question, Howard! I do wait for one of two things happening, if the price stayed (it is now well under the MA, but for future cases) above the MA:

1) the SL gets hit
or
2) buy signal appears (that means a cross on the Stoch indicator - blue crossing the red from down under)

I hope it is clear...

the second half of my EURUSD trade got closed today, SL hit @+5 pips. If the price finishes the day under the MA I will go short...

this pair looks weak anyway (lower highs on price and Stoch as well...)

Thanks, yes it is clear.

Your exit would be either your stop hit or a full buy signal to reverse your short position to long

I've never actually traded this pair but it looks like a valid signal coming up on EURCAD, not a bad setup either!

Thanks for your chart showing how your rules affected your exit and gave you more pips. However I would like to point out that according to the old rules you yould have exited at the end of the day after the cross up. You would then have re-entered short 2 days later and would still be in the trade.

However this is not dissing your modification - all of us can see it is pulling in the pips. Well done on the modification. Wish all of us a life-changing amount of pips

It appears price has leapt back ove the MA invalidating the possible sell. However my candle still has 2 hours to close

yope, you are right... only the cross appearing too low seems too risky for me so secondary entries when the Stoch lines are cross near the bottom seems not good to me... but that is what you are talking about, everybody should find their styles that suit them.. happy trading!

the USDCHF is doing great, AU not and my SL might get hit soon... The EG looks quite good to me too, we will see... Tonight, if the price stays under the MA, I will short the euro...
