IB - the only spikes are real market moves, not a broker hunting for its customers stops. Spreads that are liquidity and market driven, not driven by the bucketshopbroker's greed.

Please note that IB does charge commission on each trade. But the commission is very, very small, and for traders trading a standard lot (100K) it is only 1/5 of a pip! Think about that - .2 of a pip on a spread thant is usually .5 to 1.0 pips! Even FXCM micro usually...

sorry for not being clear. It was simply how do they view your balance in the account and how is that included in your margin when trading. Do they see they convert that as a overall balance to leverage against or it is treated as seperate? Have a great day!

in the CT trade, it's better set the TP rules solid, for me, which it bank some pips and stop at BE when reach TP1. yes, this could be reversal, but most of the time it is not..even thought it's reversal, the price will very likely re-test is. we still have chance the join the new trend....no need to rush and risk it..

I cannot remember who said that, it's very ture IMO: " It take relative great amount of time or effort to change the trend". Market trend reflects the massive crowd behavour, not even the central bank can change it over night. the longer the trend is, it will take longer time or bigger effort to reverse it.

the down trend like the UJ we are seeing, I perfer to see Daily revarsal pattern to confirm the up trend start.
