Well, we're going out to eat. Now that our elected representatives have Done The Right Thing and kept Asia from spooking and driving the Dix to a 60 handle, I think the play is over for tonight.

Be careful, although it's probably going to quiet down for a while now.

they might as well save time and just raise the debt ceiling. does not seem like they will be able to agree to reduce spending. unless something changes, I still see a potential downgrade.. is there going to be political pressure not to ?

the bill will probably contain a million earmarks showing independent agendas at work.. the same game is still played..

The S&P Credit Watch letter says this:

US plans are always 10 year plus, no matter who the president is, plans remain plans and are implemented.

another time they both will replay again, and disability to timely agree is going to hurt credibility and beginning the process of fading trust on us government.

politicians are going to lose what was earned in hundreds years.. TRUST in US Government and US financial system.

I would have thought it would have went down after Obama said deal is done. It's been hovering around the weekly pivot for 1.5 hours now. I think it's gonna break down to the daily pivot soon, but you never know.
