Absolutely, trade your own style, all the time somebody is using somebody else's money, they don't have to worry about risk management they can just gamble.

Work to your own strategies and put the hours in.

interesting, a pneumatic motor (on a lager scale). i bet is a compressed nitrogen cylinder would give 1000s of miles of range. could be as good as the hydrogen fueled cars..(separated water) easier (simple for a third grader) then most think.. just not profitable for the oil companies controlling most governments.

i don't trust news speculation. but this seems to point to usd strength st. as long as nothing new happens we may c a gap lower. before the spike friday st formation said 4200/4203 min.. we sank to the pip, of 50% of suggested st move. since its was 50% the bounce was probably amplified. below 4280 will probably negate the bounce.

there's clean energy everywhere, solar, wind, wave, to name just a few sources, but the powers that be want us all to think that they're not feasible..

So instead we're turning the planet into a toilet just so a few ultra-rich aholes get even richer and the rest of us are kept hooked on oil and paying through the nose for the privilege, it's a pretty screwed up situation...

some things can be replaced by alternative energy, but some we cannot.. simply said: technology, distribution and price

Cars, home goods, ect are very small consumers..

we need a new technology [cheap and clean]..

the good news is we are already switching to the alternative energy "where we can" and trying to catch the train.. Can we? - a good question.. No one Knows.. all the analysis re: consumption in OIL were made withouth India and China.. Now with them.. all goes parabolic.. [exponential]

the bad news is technology Cheap and clean? naah.. no possible..
even if we get one now.. the weakest link is teh distribution.. Americans made fortune developing the whole system in extraction and distribution of the cheap energy to the rest of the world..
just imagine what all that means on Food price WorldWide ?


The odds are: even if we get a new energy, or technology, we need something like 10Y to develop a distributive system, good enough to be cheap and clean..

It is a serious TOPIC, but one have to look on it from other, [different] angles, with a solutions, not only with complains..
The Big question here is: do we have enough OIL [FOSSIL] energy for next 10y to support our [world] economy? Enough for our tractors to run on Food acres and hectares? Airplanes to fly, or Sea tankers to distribute goods and trades?

Thats the largest issue today.. everything else goes to consp. theories and tea, coffee and juice parties...

Well said! "Green" is not always green. Alberta, Canada has enough oil in oil sands for more than 100Y, In fact, it has oil in oil sands alone, more than Saudi Arabia. This world was created with enough resorces to sustain our lives. Of course, we must use it wisely, but no need to panic.
My question is: "How long Forex will last for us to trade?"

you make some good points, but if we'd started working on solutions to these problems 50 years ago then we'd be there by now, they knew full well back then of the problems associated with fossil fuels and the fact that it is a finite resource, we're way past peak production already...

It seems like the dollar is going to get strong soon from the long term charts on USD/CHF and EUR/USD.

The red and green lines are when price is divergent with MACD histogram bars; price almost always comes back to these levels.

Seems to me on the Euro it's gonna proceed with its monthly swing down to 1.1900, maybe within the next year or two. Likewise on the USD/CHF, I see a bounce back up to .9450 or more when the dollar strengthens.

What fundamental news will make the dollar bounce back? Getting the debt ceiling plan figured out, ending the QE stuff, and how will the stock market behave when the dollar strengthens?
