OK, how many of you folks have this happen:
Make a prediction, then the market hits really close to your target but early and you think you just got the timing slightly wrong, so you move onto the next stage of the prediction and the signs are that the next stage is coming.
But no - the damn market realises it was wrong and gets right back on track with the prediction, meanwhile, you thought you were slightly wrong and start setting up to deal with the market as its presenting itself (ie wrong trades (out of phase - ie bad), or at least trades that are scary if your ride them).

Yes - Ive done well from it, but made a few screwups last night and today that I wouldnt have done if I had more confidence in my predictions - consequence of me being a n00b I guess which so much to learn yet.
Did anyone else predict the current moves? Im curious what methods and indicators you used - as for me - just my own variation on tracing out elliott-like waves, but not using fibonacci retracements etc (I dont trust them - too convient for my sense of logic and patterns), instead looking for non-obvious waves that are part obscured by the main waves and projecting lines from their highs and lows. Its a developing approach for me - dunno if its good or bad, but seems to be working at the moment.
(Admins - I would hope that by now it might be obvious I am not a spammer, but simply a trader who wants to learn and share etc?)

Got back from Dinner AHAHAH pure joy i got... my Shorts Took profit at 4250!!!!
wana know something better?? i actually placed a couple of Buy Limit at 4250 before dinner
glad it worked out as i thought... nicely spiked to hit my TP and boucned back up...4400 is next target to be tested
by the way i am still waiting for gold to reach 1640, thats my near term target....
