Yep. Since the Three Stooges movies are so grainy and poor sound quality, CSPAN is far more fun to watch. As long as you don't take anything those morons say any more seriously than Larry or Moe.

In todays time there is chicken going on between governments. Nobody really wants to own the gold standard currency. If you do you are going to be screwed in the long term. As citizens its nice to be able to go on the cheap. However its difficult to maintain your manufacturing base and advantage over currencies that have lesser value.

Oh well back to trading for me or at least hoping to...
i guess im insane.. Europe forced the u.s. to go from the gold standard to the lead standard. Because of the crap going on over there. they wanted big brother help then after. cash in and fuck the u.s out of gold. well they succeeded.. so we went to a lead standard. now we back our paper with lead. and it cost u.s. citizens each and every day. i have no problem screwing the banks in Europe for trying to screw me.

Now the real trick as practiced by ancient alchemists is to turn lead into gold - think of it as a challenge

(Nuclear reactors are good for gold->lead).

What's amazing that the Republican party is so owned by the US Chamber of Commerce that they can't pass a budget that cuts 4 trillion in spending, doesn't raise someone's marginal tax rate at all, but cuts loop holes in the tax code for billionaires and corporations so they can't get a deduction for a private jet and hedge fund managers can no longer pay capital gains taxes on their 10 billion in annual salary, but instead will have to pay an ordinary income tax rate. That plan is good for 95% of America, but the republicans can't vote for it because the US Chamber of Commerce pays for all their TV ads to put them in power.
