Good that you catched that outbreak of the wedge. Line chart on gold gives a better image of what the market is doing. While I looked at candles (there was a bit of a H&S). My loss on gold got covered by EU profits again
That loss on gold - was it caused because you had entered short?

Lol, ja. Not by not taking a long. I don't count such things as a loss. There was a nice formation for a correction, but when it went back to 97ish Friday, I should and could have exited almost BE.

If this dip goes lower then 1.4450, I would be carefull with longs, I'm still short and waiting for 1.4440 for 1/2 tp. If it does not get to 1.4450 in an hour, I take full profit for whatever I have.

Don't do that. Don't short gold now, even when there are the most epic sings of great correction to the downside. Enter long on pullbacks, keep lots small (fractions of a lot) - so you have a lot of space for SL, and enough margin. Gold is save heaven now, and is more undervalued than you think. It will go higher. I didn't have any losing trades in the last three weeks, and I'm always long.

My short from last night got stopped out @30. Should have known that it was too tight. Did not take the chance of re-entering it 5 pips lower.

So now I'm sucked into a long. Stoploss is an expensive 35 pips.

Now I just hope (yeah, because I do not really see it yet) that we get one last move to like 540 before we retest 435.

It was my first and last trade on gold

I think gold is no longer undervalued, but also not really overvalued yet, so I stay away. Can't buy physic gold yet, so I'll stay away.

Totally. This is my last long on EU as long as 550 sticky area does not break (close daily above).
