Many times worse! Unimaginably worse!
There is already a liquidity crisis because all the dollars and all the GE I&II etc are tied up in electrons.

I'm not calling a top, but we must be near a bottom for USDX. I'm sittig here with the finger on, waiting for the Euro elevator to drop??

I do enjoy sharing some things here at times, as long as the muppets sit down, shut up and pay attention.

No point longing 15 right below 24 here, unless you are just looking for a few pips. Intraday big boys will want to cover part of their book, that is just natural and common sense so this late in the day, buying a major resistance is just futile. Open a can of beer or a bottle of wine instead and enjoy the show, lots more fun.

I made a snide comment about this when I asked what if TPTB are laughing a people buying gold up here.....just to tank the market....now deflationary consequences have everyone looking for $'s, and gold plunges? They will gladly exchange fiat for their true store of wealth....just one last F-U imho....

Sorry Pennies, I think you missed the point. Politicians can't win, ever, in their fight with the market. I do miss the good old days of the old boy network, saw plenty of it when I was still on the inside only 20 years ago. Now it is everyone for himself, sod the good of the overal environment. Ah well, reminiscing.....Does not really pay the bills, so I try to avoid it and just be a ruthless bastard, just like everyone else.

I thought that purchase was a bit laggardly IMHO....smells like a desperation play to me...They would have been better off buying vix calls or something

i get you mate and cheers for the reply...just felt she might ping somehow, especially with the SPX looking on a mission to test 40, but that seems to have fizzed....closed at B/E and thats me done for the day...not to bad aeround 70 on the euro and about 50 on the indices....hit target and done..ATB matey and cheers again. Interesting to listen to somebody who has got their finger on the pulse and beats all the twaddle that you have to suffer...

if gold ever drops below then they just hedge against that. {which actually this physical gold is managed and secured for them already}, but this wasn't a dumb play by any means on their end.

24 is one of those levels you only see a few times a day where the last desperate counterpositions will try to defend their losing trade, where the intraday traders will cover some of their book to close the day and where there is little appetite to drive it further without picking up some slackers and some stops first. 65 was the other one today, look back at some of my posts explaining that one earlier.
