I took that back, BUT.... there's always a BUT LOL. The math might work like that however I believe it will take much longer than 2 years. In other words if you start from only $500 then you need something else: TIME... They say TIME is MONEY... It is my opinion TIME is more important than MONEY. Money is limitless, time is not. What's the point of reaching my goal when I'm 65 years old, sick, on viagara (LOL) etc. Time is worth much more than money IMO.

That is the problem with this thread... I am guilty of the same, but half of the time I'm not even posting trades... To much crap going on in here for that, and I'm sure people dont' really care considering my trades targets are 1-3 days out (or more)... lol.

But, I have posted my losses in here as well just to be fair about it. I am so inconsistent with trade posts that I really don't give much weight to it.

Edit: Apparently I am guilty of the over use of ellipses as well... lol

trend verses trend. idiot or genius depending on the future direction. if you think a direction is the only trend in life or trading you will be wrong. trends are everywhere, not just directional. when this happens, that happens, but not always. there is a trend in direction that when "a" happens then "b" happens a large enough times to make it a trend also. so if you can figure out when "a" is happening, you can trade for "b"... and if u are wrong then you will know it early enough to have a small loss. if you are correct the amount of "b's" will make up for the "a's".. with the "b's" = to 10x+ the "a's". you can be wrong excluding spread 10x and break even. comparable to being correct. if you can narrow that down to 2 correct and 8 wrong and excluding spread . your a 1000% winner of risk verses reward. if you can improve the the % improves hyper speed. in the scenario above 4 pip loss verses 40 pip gain. excluding spreads and other cob..

live example of one of these was successful on Friday.
when we topped near entry at 4435 and went to the #1 target at 4326.. 109 pips verses a 4 pip sl. 27 to 1 risk to reward. i said 10x+.

atm we have tweezers on the day and have a rejection of the mpp.. we also got below 4325.. do what you like but i would protect what i made on a long position at least till we get a new high. and be nimble enough to grab a hold of any slide. its definitely not in definitive up trend. it has to get past the hurdle first. its not in a bearish posture yet either.. i don't care. i trade r/r. the reward lower is greater at the right entry. until the hurdle is crossed and held. daily tweezers are hinting this.

Yes. I don't really post trades, I do post my general view of the direction and potential targets. I do trade a little different than most here, and I do make mistakes although my targets are almost always reached. That doesn't mean I always trust them and I am getting in the way of things (many times I'm trying to say to myself: "Shut up, you're stupid" lol). Here's one of my posts late last week. risk n reward,
bullish n bearish trend,
etc.
etc.

and if you dont know anything about the business itself ...

..you do even have a 50/50 flip at each trade

(excluding spreads and com.)

that post was not meant to accuse people not posting their losses....
people have right to post whatever the heck they want, but the bottom line is because you see some people posting couple of their big wins, i was kind of hoping that others don't read it as omg.... that sob made it or some bs like that.

maybe it's just me, i take this business as a marathon. couple of big wins don't mean crap to me. you can loss it all the next day. it happened to me a lot in the past (over trading).

in general, people making money are usually the quite ones.

Agreed. I have done one in the same. Triple an account just to crash it... whatever it would be.

I personally aim for making good trades. Pip count is irrelevant. Sometimes it will be a runner, other times struggles are hard to pull out a few pips, and of course the losses as well.

Focus on good trading, and the pips/money will come. Stay consistent. Don't hail mary the SOB. lol
