It's hard to even hit the 200-300 pip trades on the daily chart right now.

I'm sitting on just slightly over 200 pips on cable at the moment, but fawk... as crazy as this has been the stops are already pretty tight. I'm not giving back much more than about 50... it's ridiculous really...

If you have a consistent scalping strategy, apply it to the daily chart. A slow or bad trade that is still valid (and positive) will generally be around 30-70 pips.

lol. That's the only thing that's different with me. I sit on the sidelines until I get a solid setup. Candles always lead the way for me.

If weekly close like this above 43 then 48 very possible

it certainly appears that way.. some bumps ill look for weakness among the way at 4446 anywhere near 4444 area. 4490 4533... but 4504.x posted earlier is the one i like best. 4444 has been a good one for years. just realise we have atm topped at a 50% mark.

I used to do this for overnites. I'm not sure why I stopped, it was a pretty successful strategy, averaging 100-120 pips..... Maybe I'll start again....
H4 and H1 agree on direction, take the trade on H1 to the very next s/r, no thinking no nothing... Always have 6 trades on 6 different pairs. Make the SL a little more generous. Wake up in the morning with over 100 pipos. I think I'll start doing it again next week. Oh, put them in at the start of TY.

Yep... generally how I start my swing trades. I know by close the next day whether to lock her down and close her out or get my stops in place and set her free.

i don't understand the big deal.. that's exactly what candles are used for. using ma tl ect. do the same. they are for reversals or continuation.. no matter who trys to make you believe different.

I guess what I am referring to is the need to see shown momentum of the actual reversal taking place.

Candles sinking into a supply / demand zone then engulfing out of it no matter which direction.

In essence it is 'calling the bottom' or a top of the current move, but I do have at the very least, temporary momentum on my side... if that makes sense?

gator...what concerns me more is the 4370 or 4377 area.....big battle there was today.....this may stop it to 54/53

Another way I was doing for overnites, but this one requires a little more finesse... Put a trade on each TF(from H4 down to M5) of a single pair to the next s/r. I'm getting a little rusty so I have to practice it a little in demo. No SL.... Now Magix is gonna beat the crap outta me... LOL.
