M15 Trading Method (help required!)

Drattts back to late, pretty much everything touched my MA's and reversed up HARD for loads of pips, no trades on the table again

I can't make it with this system...

You likely don't understand it yet...


To beat the markets is simple, you merely need to buy a pull back in a uptrend and play the odds that the uptrend will continue most of the time and take the hit when it doesnt, without taking too many unnecessary hits.

How you see the trend and entry point is ofcourse the issue.

Slow distracted weak with far to many distractions but took profit on EJ so +7% on the week.

I shoulda hold a USDTRY Long as good uptrend and nailed 200pips+ easy.



I need to get back to setting Limit orders to get in on pull back or breakouts, not around enough, lack of trend and entrys does not help though.

Can you document your exact entry method or have I missed it somewhere in the thread?

I can document the main edges when I get time ( not today ), I've been optomising them aswell to better see the current trend and define a pull back.


Here is fridays EJ trade, I just left Limits in, got lucky, had other limits elsewhere which didn't fill though.

Template is attached to.

Basically look for trend, in this case UP, then you go Long on a pull back to the yellow or red zones, paying attention to how that pair is performing to these rules over the last week or 2, if the pairs isn't behaving look for another setup.

here are some more examples.

GU looks 99% the same as EU, slightly cleaner entry.


At times, where I suspect trend change is likely I place orders to join the new trend.


Check out NZDUSD to, thats been turning up off the Yellow MA zone.

No trades as yet this week, expect that to continue combination of Kids off, works gone crazy and it's hot and humid, I've checked the chats a few times but no setups, not checking enough to catch them.

USDCHF's been finding buyers at 0.8000 could be worth a long here or on a turn over / up of my 200LwMa 1.0850 area.

USDTRY's is pulling back and meeting my new 600LwMa so uptrend and a nice pull back, not without risks but could be a Long as it nears it, watching will likely set some Limit orders up to get in on further weakness.

Hard to find good risk to reward setups recently.

Note to self, USDTRY's spread is STUPID at this time of night, 27pips doh!!

Buying more as it nears 1.6900 all out not much below that line as the trend will be likely down by then.

make 30% or lose 15% we shall see!!

Interesting day usdtry just missed sl bounced enough exited for be ish.

Usdchf went lower doubled up sitting with a small profit still hoping that will turn up.

Went long usdjpy by accident got some nice pips on that.



Its not the way to do it really but profit so i shall take it.

USDTRY was a good exit, vague memory of where my short point was which it was stuck on some time ( Iphone quotes only )

USDJPY could of made 2x's+ the profit given charts I think.


USDCHF still holding really suspect it'll turn up for some real multi day profit soon, which is where I want to be trading wise.

a LOT USD pairs are flipping direction, so holding USDCHF, my first 24hour hold LOL

AUDUSD closed, shame it didn't pick up my 2nd position, quick +45 over night

USDCHF is FLAT, so we'll see, odds are it'll turn up, but not much in it, might still hit my next MA and get back onto downtrend but we'll play that by ear at the time.

USDTRY was a good exit yesterday, 540lwma called the top over night and down she goes, trend is down there.


Can't see any positions to take here, so just USDCHF for the time being.

Role on kids back and school and normality in September

USDCHF stalling on Red MA 540lwma taking some nice profits, just can't risk it turning back down again, profit is profit after all, SO close on the SL

Shorted USDCHF when I exited as it made sense, took 10pips good day

Not leaving it on, as fear it'll turn up and off out!!


This week has been pretty much entirely down to the being around at the right time or near enough, random chance and a good run, coulda went the other way easily so got to sort out 1 hourly chart checks, maybe 30min at rough times.

EURUSD, looks tempting, nice turn down, nice reversal of my red ma line earlier, heading back up, might add slowly short positions a bit higher think 45, keep adding to 1.4410 area for the SL.


Better set my limits before I forget!!
