I don't mind you posting other timeframe at all! Just please always mention it, like you did this time

EDIT: ...and I don't consider anything with this system, the rules are as simple as possible... Of course for experienced traders it is possible to consider everything. BUT I try to keep my trading KISS, even though I know these "upgrades"

I entered short on the GBPUSD last night under the rules of the system.

The stock has crossed upward today (exit signal). If it remains so at close, am I right in saying the trade isn't over until the stop is hit?

for me, I wait till the Fast Stoch gets under the level 60, then I exit the trade...
OR if the SL gets hit......
OR if the system says I should go long (but that would happen after the first rule, so not applying here)...

if the price stays above the MA, I will go long in EU at the end of the day (for me in an hour and half)... that is according to my rules (but the overall picture is not very assuring for me)

AUDUSD long as well, the same picture though. Not very sure it will go our way even the system says so... But I am sticking to the rules

This is the trader's dilemma. The system says one thing but gut feeling (developed over time after losing and making money) says otherwise.

I would add to the dilemma by saying the following

The system was made for man and not man for the system
The system confers and enhances discipline and a tradable routine
No one know how any trade will pan out at the point of placing the trade

On the whole - stick to the rules.

According to the rules of the system we cannot name a trade can only be taken when the 2 conditions are met - price on the right side of the MA and the cross in the right direction at the right levels happen. So the price can cross the MA and no trade until the the second condition lines up

Usually you will find one condition happens before the other and we have to wait for both conditions to have happened to enter the trade

selected 9 pairs on 240m, didnt consider market structure, only:
no trading Monday
no trading at red news
short - cross must be >60 & price <MA
buy - cross must be <40 & price >MA
exit arbitrary +60TP, -60SL, cross in opp. direction

AU +60, EU -60, GU +60, EA +60, GA +1
ACh, GCh, EJ, GJ still open

Sound nice PeterE. But its up to Slurpee to formerly adopt the name and then we can al start using it...

The I would lose the phrase 'the system whose name we cannot mention'

good luck with GA, seems to meet the rules

the 240 results arent impressive, perhaps havent transferred the daily RR ratios well enough

I dont deem it divisive PeterE. Well done for checking out the system on the 240min timeframe. Hope someone will try it out on the hourly as well. What about the weekly? Stops would have to be huge. I am sticking with the daily
