I love this stuff but am not as profitable from it....just have not found the right tool to tweak my trading to being more successful than failing....

You get the CDS periphery on Germany on Bloomburg?

Well mate thats a long way to go and will require a lot of work and time.

IMO first, you need to learn to crawl before you learn to walk. It sounds tempting to jump in with all this correlated market information and start trading but is not realistic or useful if you don't know what you are doing or what are you looking for..

Look Cloggie has probably been trading all these markets for years and is not shortcut to trading experience. However, if you want to have a more well-rounded approach to trading (doesn't mean that you can't make money without this or you need it for trading) you need to stop thinking in a linear way. There is not ES here therefore euro there ....it doesn't work like that.

The key issue is differentiating the different aspect that affect a currency. There are so many variables that is impossible for a retail trader to have and process all this information for trading. The best shot is diving in 3 major categories: macro numbers on each side of a pair, risk issues and others.

Only after that you can divide which factor (instruments) affect each category so finally you can have a general view on what is ruling what. For example ES (stock markets) can be leading a particular side in a particular moment or gold or oil can be leading in others, or bond markets in others and etc, etc, etc....

Well that a very broad overview, but surely we can follow later if you are interested ....

cloggie iwould like to ask you what kind of instruments ( gold,es,s&p usd index ...) you watching if you are tading eur usd ? I was asking tday on threat but nobody has idea what Im asking . I mean watching corelation of instruments are very important if you trading seriously .

Ok , so 4216 now +15 (usdx) x2 =4246 possible range , ok , will take care for that today & short . if works before that limited . may be a bearish butterfly then.
