Compounding factor 2.0 used today

Support levels marked on chart, changed levels to take support area into consideration. Levels changed , beats 38 pips approximately.
14200 was a key number today. The new support area formed roughly 40 pips below @ 1.4160 . Good spot to launch an attack on the round number.

It is messy the past few days and not easy to trade.
Hopefully it will settle down after the meeting tomorrow.

You seem to be trading major levels with tiny Tfs thats why you get whipsawed. The problem is not that if you have a sound MM the problem is that you will lose perspective sooner rather than later if you are not careful....just my 2 cents.

Yea you are right sissie....

I'm trying to put this all together....with levels and ES, DOW, Gold....sigh.....cloggie has been helping me some too....

But its so difficult to watch and know what I'm really looking for....the close at noon under 4190 and 4200...made me look at this going South off of 1 hr chart........

I wish I had a step by step process on what to do and look for....I really was trying to understand the charts and fundamentals more...but is has confused me....

It would be nice for awhile to get a play by play from you guys who have a better idea....gator helps alot too....

But, if I coulse see what you see as I am a visual learner...it would help...me just seeing ES go up or down doesn;t.....today I was going to be more EU long biased if ES closed above 1330..but I don;t know if that really means anything.....

I know this isnt simple...but there is a formula to this and if you know it...you are more likly to be successful....

Thanks for showing the change of levels today. Unfortunately I missed Frankfurt this morning and some easy trades. I did take that winner after LO but after that I made plenty of mistakes. I even changed my levels exactly as you did but then took some ill-advised entries and ended down a fair bit on the day. Oh, the up and down joys of braching out to a new style of trading.

Some lessons to be gained and hopefully a smoother market to trade after tomorrow, as you said. Just need to keep the simulations going but I think there's serious potential here to add this as another viable option in the toolbox.

Well, none of this smells right to me. The vol is picking up in the Treasuries (2 up last night, 1 down this morning in ZB), but going nowhere. The USA CDS are implying a double notch downgrade, and size is getting large (zero hedge has an interesting recap today).

I'm going to sit it out. Long optioned some USD quoted pairs, but expecting too much fat tail-high middle price action to feel good about trading it. Anything. Good time for a few days of recreation.

It does not matter what system you use..the past few days were not the easiest to trade. It is choppy and messy with very little respect for the levels we put on the charts
