Look at oil and S&P right now, Euro 'will' probably rally a little bit until S&P carves out right shoulder {look at larger TF's} and then a drop back down to start the USD rally ... possibility that will play out this week/next week.

range play Euro for now with the weekly high / low, sell high buy low, tight SL's and pay attention to the news flows .. 'over-all' bias for me is euro neg.

If 'euro' positive news comes out, I will fad the bull rally, if 'bear' news comes out .. I will add more or open new position ... big plays on break of range.

Also USDX has tested 50% of last week low and high. See more reason for USDX to break down. For EUR I need to look into Italy, or should I not?

When I check the DAX, I don't really see a well formed SHS. Don't see too much into 'em. Around August 2010 everbody was also talking H&S, but QE killed that one easily, just like QE3 will probably do with this one :-/

Don't trade guesses, there is no QE3 until it is announced or industry wide rumored ... until then , play what you see ... I see a H&S forming ...

You are not allowed to play a H&S as long as it has not broken the neckline and prefereable backtested it... Read the 100 commandments of the TA-bible

Today I see difference between 1m and 5m scalp.
1m: 75green pips,75pips paid in spread,25trades
5m:125green pips,18pips paid in spread,6trades

I don't have my charts up as I am at work... but just eyeballing the USDX on finviz.com... do you see an ascending triangle or a bear wedge?

I'm tending to lean more on the side of a triangle... watching demand get eaten up on each iteration... maybe with just a slightly higher high, not steep enough for a wedge.

These things have been known to switch overall trend directions.

Doesn't matter what it is made out of, I tried to keep the kid out of a silly short. I can guarantee you that very few here, if any, even knew it was in play to start of with, who cares really if it overshot by a few pips. Hopefully he will review his chart and try to figure out where the feck Cloggie got this one from........
