I´m in this trade too. Entered kinda late, but in a relatively confortable position (9616).

Weird entry, out of boredom, looks like a "double bounce"ish... Shaved +20 pips as I was sleeping, but could have been 40-45 if monitoring... I probably would pass on this if playing live...

Here is a nice bounce opportunity. Very likely it will break and hit the 113 pip S1 level

heavily into euro pairs after last nights tdi crosses/bounces on the 04:00 candle (IBFX)

B/E or a max of -45 pips on 3 of the pairs - usd, jpy, gpb(this was too close to historic low/support).

SL set to 2XATR on each of them.

USD/GBP moved well +60

Still in AUD/USD from last week +100 and EUR/NZD +65 - SL moved to BE on both (AUD/USD did break target of 2X ATR - i lot closed, 2nd lot running)

Here is the eur/usd set up from last night - TDI did pull back on London session.

If you entered this trade 3-4 bars ago, you are a happy man, counting your pips (should make 40 on this) now and feelin' good. But if you just entered it, you have violated the entry rules in many ways...

NO. I entered on the first candle that crossed the 5ema line. It was however on the high of the candle. Kind of too early as the price reversed afterwards but comfortable with the angle.

Him all, I wonder if any one can tell me if this is a bad TDI indicator. Look at the chart. My candles change color before the TDI cross. I am not sure if this is right. They change color when TDI changes direction. it is frequently apparent but not always pronounced. Is this the way it is supposed to be or should the color change come when TDI green crosses red? appreciate any input and if this TDI is wrong do you know where I can get the link for one that works right? THanks so much

You have to overcome personal glitches for this method or any other. Use common forex sense... look for possible problems before opening a trade. Check for correct angle, where is s or r, etc.

I have been followng this thread for some time and am impressed the ways this method has been followed. Looks promising to me

I just took a short position on NZD/USD. Please do comment if anyone feels my entry is not correct

Sorrry to all that replied to my earlier posting. Had to run off, leaving my computer on and connected.

To answer earlier questions, I was trading on London time, so using 1 hour charts.
I clearly need to back test again. How do you guys back test? maybe that is where I am going wrong.
Tried screen shots. I am re-installing Win7 this weekend, and I am told that will enable me to do that! Some problem with my system it seems....

I remember you from LG's thread, welcome here... Your TDI angle seems a little wimpy to me, should be more like 4-6 o'clock. Could be due to NY PM hrs, not much action this time of day. But something to keep an eye on.

Hey Geoff,
I was in those 2 trades also (EU and AU), and with a little more patience, they both turned to be positive... (40 and 50 pips roughly) keep at it dude, don't give up yet...

I looked at this trade but didn't trade it as i try not to trade against the trend, that is not a rule of this method but it's my own rule.

Two reasons i did not trade this pair.

 

  1. 4H is consolidating at the moment.
  2. Daily is in a strong uptrend and i do not trade against the trend.
