It just makes me wonder if there's so much 10 pip scalping going on that sometimes it can't break out or trend well at all even on the 5m.

uhh its because either no one is trading, or buy/sell stops are too far away, or perfect liquidity.

I have found small sl does have a advantage, even though you got stopped out a lot. the important part is to working on better your entry.

The 5m stoch is overbought but the 30m is oversold.

I am hoping to go short at the pivot resistance, which daily s1 I have at 1.4097 and weekly pp at 1.4090, if it makes it there before I crash...

Here's what I have currently on the 30m. It might hit the 61.8% level for a nice short. The retracements are from that last big move up.
