DislikedI haven't really looked into it as I have never had an overseas broker, it's the idea that gets me fired up in the first place.
I don't know how it hasn't been challenged yet... it has to be unconstitutional.Ignored
DislikedTell that to Homma Munehisa.
Considering he developed the Sakata Candlestick system, amassed a fortune of over 100 Billion dollars in today's dollars using that system, and was the greatest trader the world has ever known, I think I'll give more weight to his outlook if candlestick trading works than someone posting on a forum who's trading a $400 account.
But that's just my outlook. You're welcome to your opinion as well.Ignored
DislikedProbably, but I think that my niece who lives in the caribean will become soon a forex trader. Of course, she does not know it yet.Ignored
DislikedCan't you technically become an 'employee' for an overseas trading firm and get paid on commission?
aka have a buddy start a business and trade under that business?Ignored
DislikedBetter don't. Then you have to pay taxes on the profit.
As long as you are trading privately, then you not pay any tax over profit. There is a tax called capital gains tax though, but the IRS assumes 4% profit and wants 30% of that. It is levied on the averaged capital (liquid - debt). Instead of 4% gain, you can have like 100% gain, but the IRS only looks at the averaged capital. If you have -50% gain, you still pay this 4%*30%=1.2% tax over your remaining averaged capital.
Not every EU country's IRS is this nice though!
When these gains...Ignored
