GU Long.
USDCAD short it on pull backs
USDCHF Same.
NZDUSD, long on pullbacks.
GPBCHF, short on pull backs.

Candles just like anything else in this world are used to determine probabilities and possibilities.

Candles behave certain ways, time in and time out with a high accuracy, I might add. I'm not sure what your talking about, but my entire strategy is based around candles and there respective closes.

Must be voodoo, but it has been working well so far. Someone such as yourself with a 10+V and as many posts should have surely understood this by now...?

Hi there again!
The current situation at EUR/USD is under high infuence of fundamental news. This had led us to break down from triangle down, instead of going up from it how it should be (a triangle is thought to be a trend continuation formation). This mean, that if we are not going to move over bottom line of triangle, a strong bearish reaction should take place, which could lead us to long term trend line, or even lover. I will wait untill todays and tommorow closure, and if it will be still under the triangle, go short. If not, and prices will move over upper line of triangle, buy and wait to see new tops. Where are in a very nefralgic point and 2 next days will be crucial. In my opinion, considering fundamental news, which are more negative for Euro, we will go down.

i would love to see at least 1.3550-1.34080 this month where EY to atleast 105.80 till Nov where it could be a new low for [email protected] at least

this week could just be a ranging before one more............

Likewise, someone with a 10+V and as many posts as you, should of realised there irrelevant, change the start and end time of the candles and they'll look different, as time is arbitrary they are pretty much randomly formed, funds are not trying to paint a picture by closing out a candle at the high to signal anything to anyone else.

I find the entire V system stupid to, as people just vouch for people that think the same as them despite them believing nonsense themself.

we do have a bullish signal if we pass st 4188.. but it has to pass... on the top side is 4277.9 4282... if 4282 is passed then 4471
but if 4283 in not breached we should go back to 3902.4 3807.5 3712.6 3522 3333 3145.
if 3807.5 is touched it means we have a new low, avoiding a db.. putting 3612 as a mid to 3387... conveniently 50 pips from 3333
i would love a 4282 move for the r/r.. for a south move. regardless whether it went north after r not. just risk a few to make a lot more. before 4282 there are other places to make a scalp. but 4277.9/82 is the bigger one within reach.

Right. So you couldn't make something work, so it's completely dismissed. Is that it?

Yes, candles can paint a slightly different picture dependent on the time, but that does not mean that they do not show momentum and information regarding the past and current imbalances in supply and demand.

They are not 100% accurate. Only a fool would chase a holy grail. That is not needed. They do, however, provide me with more than enough information to stay profitable on a consistent basis.

I look at candles, and I see constant probabilities. Probabilities that I can trade off of. Probabilities that offer me an edge and the information gathered to make my monthly goals.

I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to sell here... Bad week last week? Or?

If you want, post up how you see charts, or stats, or whatever it is that you look at to provide your edge. I am always interested in learning other traders methods and how they go about it, even if it is not for me.

i agree on candles.. but most don't have a clue on how to read them. a single candle is nothing w/o the group.

Not trying to sell anything just debunking myth's!!

You might be profitable trading as you are, it's not down to the candle formations though, think how much more profitable you'd be if you stopped reading candle formations.

A group of candles as Gatorina says might be more usefull as atleast you can see, S/R and other things from it, but 1 candle is just Open, High, Low, Close.

ie..

1 candle that spikes down then back up within that time, you'd class a pin bar, O 100, H 100, L 50, C 100, is exactly the same as 2 candles where you've got, O100, H100, L50,C50 then O50, H100, L50, C100 just with the start time changed!!
