These tests are basically a farce, like the whole industry.
If they revealed the truth, i.e. major Western banks and countries are essentially bankrupt and have been living on borrowed time for a long time,it would only serve to accelerate their demise. This would threaten the livelihoods of all concerned parties. Hence the cover-up continues on an
ever increasing scale.

Speaking of spreads, I made a wrong click last night and ended up on FF's market page. They show representative spreads, and MB Trading was showing zero.

I'm sure that's not typical, but when they announced their "pay you for limit orders" in Feb, a lot of folks poo-poo'ed the idea, but I figured that they were going to take spreads down below interbank with the idea: free market is always more efficient than oligopoly, and interbank is an oligopoly. Hundreds of "little market makers" will drive that down to nothing. What size, though, can't say.

This is not an MB commercial; don't use them, and don't know anything about their service; just making the point more or less as an economic observation.

EDIT: Right now they're showing 0.9 on the same page.

The problem with MB Trading is their low liquidity. When you are used to seeing 30M flash by regularly on IB, it's disconcerting to see 1 - 1.5M tops on MB Trading. Especially during news, MB liquidity plummets.
We're all stories in the end. Just try to make it a good one.

i don't use MB , but my broker always make sure my market order executed 1 pip away so they can make money most funny think during news time and Friday close mt4 and there own system show 10 -20 pip different quote.

Oh, certainly; in an announcement, if you want an autoexecute market in 1 or better, you have to use an ECN. But for the scalper or range trader, if they're showing 1Mn either side spread under 1, that would seem to me to be attractive.

They have to stay outside the market their prime broker is giving them; okay, that's fair; they don't charge commission, so they live on the spread. But what so many, like you, indicate, is that many of them routinely take another 1 on "latency."

Hahah I have a mate he loves e-toro, no worries about margins leverage deposits or anything else, you just chose it the way you like it when you open any trade, he never withdrew any money from there though
