Well, usually double bottom is buy, triple bottom is sell. That is one. But I'm too biased towards 'the mother of all moves'. Frustrating if it doesn't do much

The range is across all pairs pretty much, apparently awaiting the stress test results!

I definitively not expect the strictest tests ever and the bad result will probably fade under "technical" explanations in a couple of weeks but still very important given the uncertainty in the markets (plus all banks and EZ debt).

There is even rumors of some big German banks falling.... but hey "sell" the rumor buy the news ....lol

For real, the test will be in two parts. The knee jerk reaction on the bank xxx or # of banks in country xxx falling and the real part. For that you will need to dig into the reports and analyze in detail all the financial numbers which is beyond the point for us and it will reflected on bank stocks in a few weeks...

Btw, the deep pocket buyer at 1.411x refuses to give up...

I read that they are not including the possibility of a greek default in the stress tests, which seems odd. The current CDS's suggest a 9/10 chance of a Greek default.

More than that was EZ Banks complaining that their exposure should not be published in detail (meaning by country) but in a general number.

They argue, that this kind of information can be use to reveal investment and hedging strategies by the competition but as you know in reality they are just trying to hide from the public their exposure to the problematic countries (Greece, Portugal and Ireland) ....
