I experienced something similar with equity portfolios where there would be a mad rush at months end to stock up on the big winners to show their clients that they had exposure to them in their portfolio and get rid of the big losers at the same time, the average client only looks at month end reporting and was happy that the portfolio held the winners and was skinny on the biggest losers. I used this to my advantage when in the City, I still watch this activity today to make a quick buck at month's end rebalancing.....

Yes AAPL have served me well for some good time now, interesting technique I am using... its the one with the philosophy "if the price goes here, it will also go here" if you know what I mean, pending orders...

Switching over can be hard to, the volatility in here is just giving away cash in all time frames and its so cheap... Today I have paid around 100 bucks for just a few executions...
