I sold some on the pink mid, covering some here in the 73/77 area, will let the others fly...

You are not hedging. You are scaling in and out on the same pair. Which is a valid statistical gambling strategy as long as price stay in a constant range (like the last 3 monthly candles) when it breaks it will wipeout an account if you are caught in the wrong side of the distribution...but I guess you know what you are doing so good luck.

Same pair? I'm trading 10 different pairs at all times: EU UCHF UJ GU UCAD AU NU EC EJ and EG. All set up according to currency correlation tables.

Like I said, you have to have a big account to ride the breakouts and not get margin called unless you plan on making pennies. The current volatility has me at ~60-80% profits but the eventual breakout will even it out. It always does.

good position but not my cup of tea...

PA now don't look like a downtrend to me..more like consolidation..

As long as 73 holds, 4126 is still open, at least according to my evaluations

edit: it didn't hold, stopped at +35

daily looks like its going to revisit 4119 and maybe even 4176. put in a small addition 1/4 to my longer term short from 45xx... @ 875 through a limit overnight. will deal with it when the time comes. coffee for now. america is waking up, lets see what they want to do with this

10 pairs? Thats just crazy unless you are an institution and have 3 or 4 traders.

If you are good you should be able to reduce your risk by concentrating on a few pair, increasing your lot size will give you the same profit ratio. You may find you are much more accurate by limiting the distractions of trying to keep up with so much.

Would you like to share what's the ratio of your risk tolerance to profit realization? I mean if you take 2% profit per trade, at what drawdown level you would hedge?
