A Daily Pinbar yes, but a pinbar bouncing off the 200 SMA. Now I mean a fricking springboard bounce, and that is a completely different animal, wouldnt you say my friend.

Things can become invalid just like that though... for instance, euro daily on 7/7. Fawker got me for 30

I relied on the pinbar too much... didn't even clear 50% of previous candle... but on those things they become a crap shoot really.

But, as far as correlations go, I would say shorts on cable are the safer route right now.

I see lower high and lower low... but, momentum is definitely slowing. If not tonight, tomorrow we should see a bull candle soon.

Have you looked at other similar "springboard" bounces? News in the same state as now?

One thing I want to make note of here, is that you bought off of the cross of the stochastic on an incomplete bar. That would be looking good if that bull candle closed today.

London could drop this straight down and uncross your stoch by tomorrow.

Got the right idea, but just ahead by 1 day. Safer trade is to let candle close first then set your orders. Once you see what the stoch poorly shows you, you'll get rid of that indicator.

I use to use that sucker myself, tended to favor the 8,5,5 setup. Lots of whipsaws but maintains a decent edge on the 4h and Daily charts.

Totally understood my man, I was just pointing out that a pin off the 200 is a more likely to bounce than just a pure pin. Got to remember, if you really, really really want to get technical, the long term trend is still up! See chart.

depends where you start. 2008 till today is down with 2 failed highs after.

There is only one way to use these indys and that is Daily or higher. They are pure loser material on the lower time frames. I use it in combination with a 4hr MACD. Works pretty good.
