In the old days, before 24hr trading gaps where king, in all types of markets. Today, and in FX I dont know anymore, this argument that FX is 7days a week, I dont know about that either. I mean what kind on volume are they doing on Saturday, or early Sunday, I just dont know.

Well gaps are important in most instruments and when you have a runaway one (very very seldom) its a massive rally or selloff. However, as you said in Forex there are not that many and there are not that valid as the majority is made of broker data....today one is not a broker data gap but is actually a real one (not that big).
The last 2 important ones I have memory is the FED gap 2009 (I need to double check that date) on an unexpected FED announcement on sunday (on overnight "hike" of interbank reference rates) and the last one that runaway gap that ended up in the massive selloff to last year lows also on debt related issues (EU meeting on Sunday with a decision before Tokyo open)....
