week should close below 4356. (bearish piercing using candles) (also bear tweezers)) unless something happens crazy. 2008 levels when closed above/below we usually continue (4277.9). a close below 4227 would be a better sign for bears and 4086 even better. (with a week closed below). i have a further outlook then a week, so 4277.9 will suffice. not using candle 4216 and/4202 is better. but not needed today. bounce off it can be many times. a close below 4277.9 may limit the bounce. the 4h closes below 4254..
hitting 4202 is still on the table today.

I understand your point and agree in terms of economics. Sure a double dip in the US will carry the rest with it but in all those currencies (e.g the yen)?. I am not sure if you have any case in modern history that this is true for all those countries. There is mix bag of countries and currencies there, and I don't see a 1 to 1 relation with gold/related currencies or risk/related currencies.

Sure risk aversion in a catastrophic US double dip will carry pairs like the euro or pound down on stronger dollar but what about a less catastrophic scenario (which is the norm in the last 100 years) where rate differentials and inflation will triumph over risk?...

As I do like action ... and I did get a superfine ENTRY at low zone with a superfast manual reversal from previous shorts that we have had on the pockets since early London at 1.42131 just before it spiked up again ...

So overall this day has not been bad to us too ...

i was just having a conversation about this very same thing with a buddy of mine. He was arguing that the USD will strengthen on risk aversion with all this negative data whereas I was explaining to him that we are still in a bull market. Risk appetite due to inflation and rate differentials are the name of the game.

frankly unless the sun explodes or something selling USD vs higher yield currencies on rallies is the name of the game for us longer term traders.

So true and market not easy i was one of many traders said about 4820 reverse point and again 1.4630 said that but every time it diving it back going to UP UP kill my long term trade for sell so lesson learn well and made better chart with some enhancement in technique and building more positions very very careful till my target hit

Also i post many time MM is the only way to survive and keep kicking the market it's currency turmoil

I'm all time top-bottom EURO bear. But I'm not US$ bull.

I will share my point of view very quick and I'm off for a game:

Both currencies have their own problems, but EURO probs seems to be more likely to prove that EURO as currency made to facilitate trade between EU nations has falied. Main reason is very simple: EURO was made to support a certain view of EURO Zone as united land. This is only an idea, an abstract political vow that is not relevelant to economical fundations of each nation of Europe. What I mean is, that this idea assupms that countries like Germany and Greece are equal and can have the same currency not because of economical underprints but elegant, modern abstract form of social political manipualtion vow: it does't matter wher we live, we are all the same.

Witch is bullshit made by politicans.

Agree, the US numbers are certainly sluggish but nowhere near a double dip or bad. Plus, one just need to open any stock market indicator to see what level we are trading. Only a few weeks ago the Dow just broke 3 year highs and currently is aiming to test the swings highs before recession.

Weekly close line 4212, daily close level 4242 & both low level 4175 approximately. lets see where end today.

I see your point and make for a long discussion of the EU/EZ. In any case, just my 2 cents, don't let (I am sure u don't) your political bias rule your trading decisions, as finance and economics are a lot more irrational than we think....good luck managing those shorts.
