I missed this wave.
As a new Sonic R learner,can I treat this situation as an classic sonic entry showing on the chart below? (I just read to page 600+,I remember Basber had said that we should not look on one or two bars as a wave.But look at EU .........)

Only AFTER USD news "ADP Non-Farm Employment Change" and "Unemployment Claims", the BB show true colours blasting EUR/USD from a low of 1.4221 to 1.4375 for at 150-pips plus rocket.
(This news is a note to myself)

Today's London session I entered another Long EUR/USD at 1.4312 that hit SL for -40pips.
So was licking the wound as did not watch EU chart and did not enter early enough for another Long after the stopping volume from news.

Waiting for another chance to go Long EUR/USD, perhaps tomorrow.
Just pains to know is Long and timing sucks.

I am trying to understand the "stopping volume" How do you define that. I have never used "volume" before as more of a C@D trader. Really want to get the whole thought process down on this system. Thanks!

Today after not estimating correctly on EUR/USD, I switch to EUR/JPY.
As EUR/USD went down much, EUR/JPY did NOT go down much.

After the Red USD news, EUR/JPY hit a low 115.52, then climb up fast.

I entered STRAIGHT AFTER the second news, EUR/JPY Long 116.11, that was more like Sonic Classic.

Saw the price jump 116.15 to 116.35, it did not seem to want to even enter near 116.2x.

Also been specifically watching TAH last Sonic Scout EJ EL4 116.21.
Was waiting for EL7, but it did not come, so EL4 was the price to watch.
Wanted to get in Long at 116.21 with TAH, but price jumped too fast.

Now his EJ entries are in profit!!

I just need to know when to take EJ profit now!

Can see that even though TAH may take much much earlier entries, the price normally return back to his last entry price and it does work out most times.

TAH, your overall trading works, regardless whether it is much too early entries for me and too risky with the no stop loss.
You are managing your trades well and consistent to your style.

U get the direction "eventually right but the timing isn't that good..

EU trade is 40 SL is too tight for me..

Watch how Sonic has uncanny eyes to spot Stopping Volume through his charts shown which are more likely signals for a turn around points.
Study his charts more closely when he mentioned he will NOT go short, and he will NOT go long.

You added EJ EP5 115.88!
And I thought EP4 was last one.
I should have watch that level 115.88 instead.

Arhh, you took profit and exit EJ 116.77.
Your Take Profit Exit figures are so much better.

My position still there, only move to BE+2.
Perhaps I may leave it till tomorrow.

Why do you take exit at 116.77 ??

Any other higher exit you may recommend ??

Thinking this may be the last EL4, but I have my doubts now.

EU did hit 1.4360 today, so expecting you to profit overall here as well.

I am waiting to get a Long entry EU, perhaps tomorrow, as price too much run up today even though it went past 1.4360.

The reason I took exit where I did......
I was hoping for price to achieve as many entry levels as possible, but I considered RgH a limiting factor. So, when price made it up to as far as EP2 I considered myself lucky. It just happened that price was just a bit higher at the time of exit.

Now that the day is old and the run is good, I'd expect the BBs to focus on a pullback, load up long, and drive it even higher....the higher the better before the two high impact USD releases tomorrow (Unemployment Rate, and Non-Farm Employment Change).

And the same goes for EU.

Yeah, I am getting better with Direction and Bias, that is why I did not want to go Short on EUR/USD and have to be patient for Long, even though Short still bring much pips.

Still ways to improve timing.
News is something I miss to watch for the impact too often.

As 40 pips too tight for SL on EUR/USD, what do you recommend and use ??
