As a number 1.50% looks good in terms of interest earning potential n all, just don't know if it will punish PIIGS and whether the markets will punish the EUR for this.

As to the ECB today, I fully expect 2 more rate hikes this year as long as Trichet keeps using the V-word. Do I expect a hike today? Very, very probable. The ECB mandate differs from the FED and as we have gone down this road there is no turning back anymore, so if I had a vote I would vote yes today and I expect a majority to do so.

maybe you might care to comment where exactly MercySeat and especially FX-Ray (since I now that you did it) violated the rules of the board here.
Please bring your reasoning in accordance to your own behavior and restless rantings, insults etc.
