You are missing Sisse's point; the US can never compete with that part of the supply chain, it is just not going to happen. They need to focus on the start and the end of the manufacturing chain and the services sector, they have no choice.

Look how the services industry in the UK is fairing, they added 15,000 jobs in the financial sector in the first half and are expecting to add another 50,000 before year's end, that's where the growth is coming from, not manufacturing consumer products etc. High end engineering is a different story, but the middle of the manufacturing chain does not pay.

Aww its nearly 'snowing' in Sydney? Geez and I thought I moved to Oz for the weather

Currently up a grand total of 4.8 pips on A/U after 2 hours but G/C from last night is looking very good. Only wish I didn't take 1/2 off so early at only 40 pips.

You're right about the need to focus on start and end of manufacturing n services sectors (mainly manufacturing though) but how's that got to do with 'innovation' that sisse mentioned? I think he was referring to the US continuing to come up with the most unimaginable products like they always have (and most of the time that we don't even need to run our lives).

Blowing 20% of the account in a day indicates that unless you change your behaviour, all of your account will be blown up pretty soon. If you want to stay in the biz, start trading with a tenth of your current lots.

Innovation, R&D, design, that is all the start of the manufacturing process, Sisse and I are talking about exactly the same thing.

Add China to your list of people living below the poverty line, where the average monthly take-home pay is about $200.
What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly.
