the other option in a situation like this is to scalp off the lower charts until the upper charts allign...the only caution is that scalping shld be in the direction of the bias (down) and (in this case) entry shld be from upper band or at least the middle band

It might be gambling but it's FUN!!!! , then again all I'm after each day is a mere 10 pips, if I find those I'm exceptionally happy.

sideline good idea, i am not opening any deal today, unless no interest hike and clear direction from our expert

Sisse, found out this morning that quite a few French and German banks rolled over Greece 2012-2014 maturity, wonder what the pension funds did, can't wait for the next report from Athens, Germany may get its "private participation" this way after all, should be a bit of a PR winner at home.

As to the ECB today, I fully expect 2 more rate hikes this year as long as Trichet keeps using the V-word. Do I expect a hike today? Very, very probable. The ECB mandate differs from the FED and as we have gone down this road there is no turning back anymore, so if I had a vote I would vote yes today and I expect a majority to do so.

Lol I used to be, but I've been reading up a couple of members posts and they've helped me figure out where I've been going wrong. I've managed to go from being one of those who hangs on to a losing trade whilst closing profitable ones quickly to one who eats his small losses but takes his profits at the planned target.

It's a small change in my outlook and in the last two months I've managed to make back most I've lost because of it. By the way... Thanks Cloggie and Gatorinla for sharing those small snippets of your techniques here. There are others but those two have had the biggest influence.

yes patience is the key...
didnt expect we can go down to 4274...I closed my position @ 4310...

rate hike probabliy alredy reflected by price frm last week....with the condition now....countries like Greece and Italy might not be happy with the decision...

we at mid point of the daily triangle.....
sideline is good idea my friend...
