More waiting, until London opens. If it closes above or below these bunch of lines crossing each other at 1.4322 AND moves in the direction of close, will chase it for about 8 hours.

If I recall, his claim to fame was a 25 lot he bought in the Major Market Index, on or during the crash of '87. I think its in Market Wizards. He figured that if they halted the market, that it was near a low. I think he cleared 2-3 million on that trade, either intraday, or by the next morning. He ran a real tight delta neutral book, making markets in all kinds of stuff. The bid/ask's where wider back then, but it was basicly a simple plan. But it less than theoretical, sell it more than theoretical, over and over again.

I'll wait to see if 11 asks get left, and if it goes back up, I'll tell one last Black Monday story.

Okay. When the rates spiked on Wed or Thursday before the 19th, some clever guys bot at the money sp straddles, on the theory that there'd be some reaction, and a bounce, so they'd catch at least one and maybe both sides.

On Tue, implied vol was over 100%, and both sides were in profit: the put side, for like 80, and the call side, because the model value 80 out of money was larger than it had been at the money on Friday. Then, they started to sell those straddles into the collapse of vol, and covered them again in profit on both sides. That will never happen again.

Let's see if this is going to make the push...

thanks brother... i was actually happy i was on a phone call an away from my computer during the crash...cause it took about 30 min to fall ...didnt have a TP set.... got like 13 texts from friends telling me the earth was exploding so i ran back to my computer and almost fainted...lol!
