DislikedHi Seller9,
I have analysed some of my trades and I discovered that there were quite a few small loss trades which were opened and closed almost at the same time. I guess there may be an entry logic issue some where.
I like to report this incidence. After a USDJPY trade was closed by the EA 2 bars ago, I turned it back just now and it immediately entered a short trade which I believe it is against some of the filters. I have captured a screen shot moment after the trade is entered.
From the picture, the trade was entered against the green...Ignored
DislikedWhat do you have your slope set at? I see the slope in your picture is 0.9 and is giving a red signal for a short. If the slope is close to being flat it is possible the TDI green line is jumping back and forth across the red line with different tics as it is calculated on every tic. The TDI indicator does not change from tic to tic so you don't see this. I have made a few changes to the EA and will post it in a few minutes to hopefully help stop entering some bad trades.Ignored
DislikedI hv found that the TMSwatchdog or the EA latest...do not update the slope very often on the charts...
If u look closely into kwchau's chart TMSwatchdog slope is 3.2 and a green cross!!Ignored
DislikedThe EA Calls the "TDI Red Green" indicator on each tic, so that is where it gets its numbers to calculate the slope. I don't know what the TMSwatchdog does as I don't have the code for it, so they may be different at times. The graph keeps showing the same angle even though the slope has changed durring the candle.Ignored
DislikedHere is the next version. I have made a few changes, hopefully to make it better. They are shown and explained in the screen shot below.

DislikedHi. I had an interesting trade this morning at 10:05 am EST. EA opened a EURUSD buy trade, and then immediately closed it for a small loss. The price action did not hit the stop loss. A screen shot of the relevant lines from the Experst tab is below, as well as a screen shot of the chart.
The screen shot below is after the trade already closed out, 1 second after the EA sent the SL and TP to broker.
Any idea why this has happened ?
I have countertrend set to false
Using the ATR TP and SL settings. TP set to 50 X ATR, SL set to 100...Ignored
