Around 2000 I had cause to be in the town of Schonigen, out near Hanover IRRC. Our host took us a little ways out of town, to a piece of the Wall which still stood (stands? don't know). What struck me was the little town, which had been in the East, just aside of it. The infrastructure, the construction, everything was even then visibly different than in what had been the West.

The Wall cost you and millions of others dearly, and the unification cost Germany so much as well. To say it should be back doesn't view history very clearly, IMO.

the raise is priced in. if they don't, isn't. they are in a hard place. since bond rates are already climbing. if you want to sell something. you don't raise the price. it seems they will. and yet we fall.
