Hmm, but maybe 1 week is too short. And also, I do not need this chart to see where most volume has been traded.

If you had made this chart on the 6th of May and bought @ 4550 (or maybe day before even higher), you would have been screwed.

So the problem with accumulation and distribution is, what TF do you need to look at...

I think this approach (just like the acc./dist. approach) works better on individual stocks.

atm if we dont get to 4318.7 and touch 4307.. then we get below 4310 the st target.. we should continue.. st... 4266 is still untouched.

At the chance of sounding like a goose, what is mofu. i see the term used alot on here.

Also are saying rejection to the upside and expecting more decline?

In case I just look for 50-100pips moves 1 week data is enough. Am using extrem conservative money mangement. My stop is never bigger than 10pips.
The problem by statistics is, the more data you have the more redundancy data you get. I had to find the healthy balance between the lenght of the timeframe (120x1h) and the number of observations(calculated of the 1h candle). For the 1h TF 1 week data is ok. For example, the daily stats 1 - 2 month is ok.

An Oberservation could be High/Lows, Pivots, Averages, S/R.. there no limitation.

Sorry for asking, but if we would have gotten till 4318.6, would this statement still evaluated as false? I know you're a scalper, but PA doesn't listen to the pipette to the levels, so not necessary to quote it?

observation would be something that you hit/see/get/etc.. like a value. lets say 1.5 or 1.4 or 1.4440. doesnt matter. now every time you hit the price, you observe it. essentially you may have some restrictions or if statements.

lets say when t=0 price is 1.4439 and t=1 price is 1.4440 and t=2 price is 1.4440.

therefore.. [0,2] (from 0 to 2 inclusive) 1.4440 was observed once. because at t=1 price was 1.4440. you can conclude that from t=0 to t=2 1.4440 was ovbserved once. thats a very simplistic definition.

now he takes a bunch of values over a period of time, counts them and graphs them. this graph indicates a normal distribution over equal periods of time. (thats where empirical kicks in). highest bars in the middle indicate that you have the largest amount of observations right around 50%.

I am bit skeptical about using it in trading fx.. I would have to investigate it a bit more, but I am intrigued.
