Can't agree more with that. Back in the 3700 range, when Trichet talked EU down, I just kept buying with small positions and kept adding money via moneybookers. Expensive day. Need a lot of discipline though to stop trading once you made a mistake.

My long from this morning got stopped out Being wrong since Tokyo open Tuesday...

eur-usd got stopped out at +3 last night.
gbp-aud got me 48 pips profit.

Lets say how today plays out before taking anymore trades.

expectations are that ecb intend the same tomorrow, so this sell off may be short lived..

not forgetting that it's also nfp week...

not been able to keep a good euro down for the past 12 months, portugal being in the financial mire isn't new news... what's key imo, will be expectations or not for further qe measures dollar side moving into the last quarter of this year and on into 2012, which hinges on recovery in the us gaining some traction or slipping back towards a double dip...

here my 30 min chart, as long we hold the lower channel support a bottom could be formed, test 1.44 possible in my opinion.

yep, just working on the principle that the moody's downgrade is the ideal excuse for a tree shake... notice i highlighted the word may, nothing is written in stone when it comes to these markets...

Can't understand how they can even consider a rate hike of .50

Germany could use a hike of .25, maybe France, but the majority of EU countries couldn't handle .50

Same position the US is in right now, they NEED to get rid of this zero rate crap in order for the country to get back on track for the future, BUT, at the same time a rate hike might slow a slow recovery. Rock and a hard place.
