Totaly agree. When I say I don't follow the news, doesn't mean I'm not aware of them. Some of the very important scheduled reports I simply avoid like non farm, interest rate decisions, FOMC reports. Usually I don't trade at least 1 hour before the report (for non farm I don't trade at all on that day before the report). Only after at least 30 minutes I'm ready to continue trading. Today I was not aware of very important scheduled reports for EU (apart from one relatively important in the morning)

Just thought i would post an update on my trades this week:

audusd = +50
eurjpy = +12
eurusd = +80
usdcad = +18
eurchf = +130
chfjpy = +60
gbpchf = +60
usdchf = +30
cadchf = +40

Please note these are all open trades, this does not include my closed trades for this week.
TOTAL this week = + 480 pips

Trading off M30 & M15 means alot of noise and headache. H4 gives a considerable price stability and solid S&R levels. On the trade in question, buying eurgbp at that point means driving against the wall when price have already bounced off Resistance twice.

Do you keep your trades open even after a TDI move, I mean do you wait for a different color candle to form before exiting a trade? Seems to me you hang on to your trades more than I do...

Take the AU for example, I don't know where your entry was but surely you would have been spooked by a hook over from TDI or candle color change once or twice in this trade? If my entry was at the TDI cross I would have closed it at the first small blue candle. Same thing with the bounce opportunity. Or is it because you don't monitor your trades that you just let them ride?

Why is it that your chart is different then mines even though its aud/USD? I am talking about how some candles are blue and some are red. You can see it in my attached pic.

I don't know if he's actually using HA while you are clearly using Sinergy, but it could be because different brokers have different times for H4 candle openings, this way some candles may differ from yours in color (bullish or bearish)

its a nice angle on H1...
but look at the higher TF, its also a nice angle too which shows an opposite direction to one another...
