PA Wave at S&R level (whole number)
Dragon down
PA below Dragon

It would be best to wait entry at least a few pips below candle exiting the Dragon. Helps reduce head fakes. PA looks to be consolidating for next move. With tight SL, I have ventured the entry short, early by a half dozen pips or so.

Still consolidating at S&R = 1.4481 area, just below whole number. RgL would seem a likely target, but the London session ended now so maybe this will do nothing much until tomorrow. My GU short might go to sleep until then, also. Can't tell. A late day run? Has happened before.

Another pre-London session trade comes back to bite. Instead of proceeding long, it turned out as a SonicR short. Sonic's rule: ....only trade the London session!
I think London session is good, but not the major rule to filter out the bad setup, Asian section has runner too. look at the attached big picture, your long setup was right heading to overhead resistance of 0.8500. it has little chance in Asian section to pop this big level and take home run, unless we have some breaking news, or in very thin market.

As I am trying to learn being selective on take high quality setup, I marked the major support level in green, if long setup occur there,it will be good one to take, with little risk by putting stop under the support (15+pips). on the other hand, the red resistance with short setup will be good take for me.

I am keeping learn to polish the S/R and trade selection skill. any suggestion is welcomed.

wow, what a day on EU. it made at least 10 moves up, down, in quite tight range.

TAH, let me gues if you would have some longs now, you'd say that BB's not letting price to go higher as they want to load longs for big move on rate/nfp news

Entered long on spike down. Consider this a Sonic Scout.

EP long = 0.8384.

PA has been strange indeed. It has been knocked down twice today, and for no apparent reason. This time it was torpedoed down two S&R levels again, just like before. For all I know, the BBs are getting the price lower just so they can load up long this week. I have no idea, but two such torpedoes in one day? Seems a fitting place for a Sonic Scout.

here it came, big mover of the day - Moody's downgrades Portugal to BA2 with a negative outlook from BAA1

The Portuguese downgrade is whipping up another round of contagion and traders are rushing to buy CHF as a safe-harbor.
USD/CHF is being absolutely crushed. Same for EUR/CHF.
USD/CHF has fallen to 0.8385 from 0.8450 just ahead of the news.

TAH, CHF again got portion of "safe heaven" which has been lost by EURO. thats why it spiked on all CHF pairs. sadly my long runner long has been squized

There was news out of China in the Asian session - possible interest rate rise this weekend and some banks with bad debts - so the safe havens came into play and the swissy is stronger than the $

Thanks shr5, kimis, forexnutter. I was fortunate to get the entry I did. Looks like I'd better count on no more than a decent pullback upwards, and exit.

42 pips profit on EP short = 1.6084 closed at 1.6038.

This is a wierd late session, and I won't gamble on more downside now.

As strange as things are this late session, I am wondering if AU will start to fall. There is a nice PA Wave showing failure at a S&R level. Dragon and Trend are down, and PA is below both. It is just that the London session is over, but.....?
